"I am incredibly humbled and blessed to have been chosen as your next Rectora. Some of you may not know me so I would like to share a little about myself. I made Women’s weekend #65 with Rainbow VDC (now called Living Stones VDC) in April 2013 in Maryland. Ever since that weekend, I volunteered to serve every weekend – usually twice a year – because I have a strong passion for VDC.
My husband, Eddie, and I worship at Providence Lutheran Church in Lexington. We have 4 children, and 8 grandchildren. I retired in 2016 after 32 years with the Federal Government, and moved to Lexington, SC with my husband to be closer to our daughter. It was important to me to find a VDC community and I was overwhelmed by how well I was welcomed into this community. I am excited to serve in any capacity. I have served on the last three weekends and on Secretariat as the post-weekend coordinator.
I hope you will all join me in serving on our next weekend, Coed #19 to be held May 12 - 15, 2022 at the Nazarene Camp. I covet your prayers for me, the team, and our pilgrims. Decolores, my brothers and sisters, God loves you and so do I!"
